Four trophies for LSU’s Dorsey

Earlier this month, LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey won the Bronko Nagurski, Rotary Lombardi, Outland and Ronnie Lott trophies. Each time, his name was called, he walked up to the podium and took the trophy. But, Dorsey was not allowed to take the trophies home with him that day.

“I’m supposed to be getting them pretty soon,” he said. “They’re supposed to be mailing them to me.”

After the trophies arrive, LSU will later receive trophy duplicates for display at the school.

“The ones that they presented me will be coming home eventually,” Dorsey said.

He has not decided which trophy of the four is his favorite.

“I appreciate all of them,” he said. “I can’t say which one I like the most. I’m just thankful that I got the ones that I got. It was great. I met a lot of nice people.”
