Creating a Healthy Working Environment

One thing that makes companies good or bad is the average time that employees have been with the company. Because if you hated where you were working, why would you stay?

If a company treats their employees well, they are more likely to stay. Good treatment of employees can include recognizing them for their work, acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries, and even occasionally giving cash bonuses or other perks.

One way employers can achieve a happy work place is by giving out recognition awards & trophies. This does not have to be done every day, but rather whenever you think is necessary. If morale is low, then give out some crystal awards or glass awards. To make workers even happier, you can engrave their names inside.

Another option is to by perpetual plaques where you can engrave someone’s name in each time he/she accomplished something. This way their achievements will live on in the office long after they are gone.

That leaves retirement plaques or other retirement awards. Don’t let a hard worker leave without something for them to remember the company. Engrave the company’s name as well as his/her name on retirement wall plaques or other retirement awards.

If you follow this guide, I guarantee you will see more smiles around your office .

In the corporate world, crystal trophies are proudly displayed on offices shelves and desks.

But, what about your warehouse workers, part-time phone staff or manufacturing team? Employees should be recognized at all levels. Even the smallest token of appreciation is valued.

Sometimes simple “thank you” gifts or inexpensive achievement trophies are needed to keep workers motivated.

Action Steps
The best contacts and resources to help you get it done

Thank You gifts are appropriate for everyone.

Say “thank you” with a special gift. Presenting an employee with a pen, mug or a pin will brighten their day.

I recommend: Shop for affordable “thank you” items at Crown Awards & Trophies. They offer a wide selection or pins, pens, mugs, paperweights, notepads, and more. Of course, if you’d rather give a “thank you” trophy, plaque or award, they have many styles to choose from.

Teamwork pins to motivate

Have an outstanding team member? Many low-cost motivational pins, medals and awards are available.

I recommend: Shop for Trophies,  medals, plaques, pens, mugs, that reward teamwork. Motivational teamwork pins can be purchased as well for as little as 99 cents each.

Achievement – Great Job!

Try a Great Job! or Achievement award to recognize special employees.

I recommend: Buy Great Job! and Achievement Medals. These medals come with a free ribbon, and will make an employee feel like a winner!

It is always important, especially in today’s economy, to acknowledge deserving hard workers. Companies that are short staffed and have workers toiling extra hours should be sure to reward employees with achievement trophies & awards to show that they are not going unnoticed in these tough times.

If you are going to get corporate awards for numerous people then it is better to opt for acrylic trophies & awards. While these aren’t exactly glass, they still appear to be classy and appropriate for the work setting. You can select from various shapes and sizes. Some classic shapes include squares, rectangles, but if you are feeling a bit more daring, shoot for the house, Number 1, or truck figures. These acrylic awards also offer a classic look with a dash of fun to make a worker smile. Another feature of these awards are that they can be engraved to put a worker’s name, title, or even an inside joke on them. Engraved awards give it that extra personal touch.

Crystal awards are offered in similar selections as the acrylic awards except produce an even more beautiful vision because of the colors that are created and emitted when hit with light. These delicate awards can be used as a desk decoration or if necessary, as a paperweight. In addition to the classic geometric forms, there are brilliantly shaped crystal eagles, diamonds, flames, and star awards. To take it one more step up you can honor that special someone with crystal vases and crystal cupscrystal awards that say “you matter.”

Employee awards and recognition awards are the best way to show your appreciation. With the various shapes, sizes and engraving choices, you will be sure to find one perfect for your award recipient.
